I had two lovely-but obsolete style old furs I hadn’t worn for years & decided to give them a new life. So I took a denim jacket and a designer cloth coat along with the minks to see if they could be turned into ‘contemporary’ and understated jackets I could live in every day. When I brought them to Madison Ave Furs, I was welcomed as if I were an old friend & invited to explore for ideas. I worked with brilliant Susan to re-purpose them. Truly-she immediately ‘got’ what I wanted…a kind of sixth sense…and about 4 weeks later, I picked them up.I can only say, Madison Furs-with Larry and Steve and Susan will exceed your expectations -as they did mine. They were fair in their pricing…the workmanship was pristine…and they were just plain nice. Go and treat yourself or do so for a loved one!

For years I had been keeping an eye on the places I could have a 30-year-old mink made into a warm lining for a coat.  I was waiting for one I could believe was both trustworthy and would charge a reasonable price.  Yelp reviews of Madison Avenue Furs convinced me to make an appointment.  My experience was great.  They are friendly, professional, candid, and efficient.  They provided me with options, explained their recommendations well, and respected my preferences.  And three weeks later I had a fur lined raincoat that fits me well and I have worn almost every day since.

	The entire team at Madison Avenue Furs & Henry Cowit is amazing! I have an absolutely fab new hooded waterproof raincoat, lined with my old ranch mink and brand-new fox collar!! Designer Susan Romano is fantastic, and brothers Larry and Steve (third generation) are delightful!! If you have an old fur sitting in the closet, call for an appointment ASAP!!!
