I would highly recommend Madison Avenue Furs. Larry was wonderful to work with and made me an absolutely gorgeous mink coat. He was extremely helpful in helping me decide the style and look of the coat that would suit my needs and paid attention to detail. I’ve never left a yelp review for anything before, but these gentlemen — Larry & Steve — were so professional & personable. They just went the extra mile –walking my receipt out to my car so I didn’t get a ticket — It felt like we were living in another era, when repeat business & customers were a priority. Oh, & they did a gorgeous job on my grandmother’s coat & did it quickly. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

I have used this place to make two items, a coat and a jacket. Both times I was completely satisfied with the end results. Larry who worked with me was patient, not pushy and knew how to interpret my wishes into the styles I had wanted. He knows his business and is very professional. The store itself is filled with all kinds of beautiful furs, from traditional styles to some very unique designs. Everyone in the store is friendly and prices are very fair. I recently had one of my furs altered because I wanted a different look. I thought it would take a few weeks and instead it was done in less than a week. It came out to perfection. Thank you, Larry. I get tons of compliments on both of my furs. They also have fur accessories or can make them up for you. I highly recommend this store if you’re looking for a place to buy a fur item.

My review has to do with their cleaning service.
I brought in my sheared mink coat with terrible stains that had hardened. In my opinion the coat was ruined and I thought I would have to cut or live with a ruined coat.
Well! That was until I brought it to Madison Ave Furs. At first they were not sure how much of the stains they could get out but did assure me they would do their best. Although I wasn’t expecting perfection, I was hoping it would all come out.
So, I Just picked up my coat today and it looks amazing!!!! I’m sooo happy with the results. And I really can’t tell where the hardened stains were. They did a fantastic job! Very impressed!!
I definitely recommend this place. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I looked through some of their selection and they have beautiful items! From ear muffs to long coats.
